This year will be my sixth year as an educator.
I began my teaching career in the Dekalb County School System
teaching grades 6 through 8. This is my 3rd year teaching 1st grade at
St. Peter Claver Regional Catholic School. Before teaching,
I worked as a Social Worker and Program Consultant for the
Department of Family & Children Services. I graduated from
Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Criminal Justice
and Master of Social Work in and from Grand Canyon University
with a Master of Education. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy
reading, scrapbooking, and traveling! When I retire from
teaching I want to live in Panama. I grew up in
Crawfordville, FL a small coastal town near Tallahassee, FL.
My 1st grade teacher Mrs. Williams is still my favorite teacher!
I have 1 brother, 1 sister, and a chihuahua.
My husband, Richard and I have been married for three years.
